Aluminum Profiles (also known as aluminum channels or extrusions) are used with LED Strips to create unique and dynamic lighting fixtures that can be used in areas that are hard to light with traditional bulbs. Ideal for slim designs and thin furniture pieces due to its small dimensions (only 7mm high). This fixture's flanged edge makes it one of the best profiles for cutting into walls and ceilings for a stylish look. However, for applications that look to hide the aluminum, this profile would not be the best choice since it is one of the more obvious profiles we sell. This profile houses up to 12mm in width of LED strip.
